Christmas Casual

Aaah Christmas.
A day of food.
Family.
And presents!!
Also a day of changeable weather, that's if you live in New Zealand of course.
Yes it can be stinking hot leading up to the day that the birth of the sweet baby Jesus is celebrated, but in a flash it can turn like a premenstrual woman and be nippy round the pippy.
This Christmas it just chose to be even tempered (in the Waikato at least), mainly cloudy with hints of sun every now and then.
So what does one wear?
A cool and casual shirt dress. Nice but not too fancy. Cool but still covering enough flesh to keep you warm.
Admittedly I changed into jeans and a jumper once the sun dropped, but the Summer Of Dresses only occurs when it feels summery.
Great day though ... wish I was given presents every day *sigh*
